David May
David May is a woodturning artist of international repute. He is also recognised as an author, teacher and an acclaimed judge of woodturning. His articles on woodturning have been published worldwide.
He had conducted many demonstrations throughout Queensland and NSW as well as in England.
A foundation member and past president of Redcliffe Woodcraft Society, David has lived on the Redcliffe Peninsula for 40 years. His awards include the Excellence in Craft Award, 5 times winner of the Caloundra Art Festival wood prize, and 4 victories at the Queensland Woodcraftsmen Guild. He has been Grand Chapion at the Redcliffe Show on 7 occasions.
